STEP 3

Once we receive your impressions, it takes up to 6 business days to manufacture your appliance, which is approved by a licensed dentist in your state.

How To Take An Impression:

Don’t attempt to take the impressions if you suffer or have any of the following: Bleeding Gums, Gum Disease, Loose Teeth, Loose Fillings, Loose Crowns, Badly Decayed teeth and/or accumulated calculus or tartar over your teeth, or unbrushed after the meal teeth.

How Does The Full Process Work?

It’s important to us that you understand the whole process of working together, so let’s go through each step.
After you place an order on our website, what happens? (Even if you haven’t done it yet and are just thinking about it! 😊)

Our team will process your order the same day (see Tip #8 below) or the next business day and send your impression kit with free 2-3 business days shipping.

You’ll receive a kit with everything you need to make impressions at home with ease and send them back to our office. Here’s what’s important:

Get your first impression approved before proceeding. (See Tip #4 below)
Make impressions of your upper and lower jaw. (See Tip #3 below)
Send the physical impressions to our office.
Also, send pictures of your teeth to our email. (see Tips #5 below)

Once we receive your impressions, we’ll check their quality again. In some cases, before we start working on your appliance, we’ll call you to clarify any details. A licensed dentist in your state will review your case, and our experts will meticulously craft your appliance to meet your unique needs. This process takes 3 to 6 business days, depending on the type of appliance.

Finally, your appliance will be ready to ship. You’ll receive an email with a tracking number, and within 2-3 business days, you’ll receive your appliance along with a care case and cleaning foam. Before making your impressions, watch our quick video guide. It will show you how to mix the material efficiently and walk you through the entire process. At just 90 seconds long, the video will help you feel confident and prepared before you begin.

2. Brush and Rinse Your Mouth Thoroughly:

Begin by brushing your teeth thoroughly and rinsing your mouth. This ensures that no food particles or plaque are left behind, which could affect the accuracy of your impressions.

3. Provide Impressions of Both Upper and Lower Jaws:

To create your custom appliance, we need impressions of both your upper and lower jaws. Understanding the anatomy of your jaw and bite is crucial for crafting an appliance that fits perfectly, has the right shape, and restores the appearance of your tooth/teeth.

4. Send Photos of Your First Impression for Approval:

After making your first impression, send us a photo and wait for our approval before proceeding. If impressions are mailed without approval and are later disapproved, a replacement kit will cost $40 if you choose to continue.

5. Provide Photos of Your Teeth and Shade Guide:

To avoid delays in processing your order, please don’t forget to send photos of your teeth from 4 sides and include a picture of your teeth with our shade guide if your kit has one. This information is crucial for our specialist to match your gum and tooth colors accurately and understand your dental situation.

6. Take Clear, Well-Lit Photos with the Shade Guide:

When taking photos of your teeth with the shade guide, ensure the lighting is bright and the images are clear. Place the shade guide next to the missing tooth or as shown in the instructions, and take a high-quality photo. If needed, ask a friend or family member to help you. Good photos are essential for accurate color matching and creating your custom appliance.

7. Package and Ship Your Impressions Correctly:

Once both impressions are ready, place them in the same box, seal it securely, and attach the provided shipping label. Be sure to use the correct courier listed on the label (we use FedEx, UPS, or USPS). Using the wrong courier may cause delays or result in a lost package.

8. Our Shipping and Processing Schedule:

If your order is placed after 5 PM EST on weekdays or anytime over the weekend, your impression kit will be shipped on the next business day. Our office processes orders and approves impressions from 10 AM to 6 PM EST, Monday through Friday.
